We Offer Services Tailored to Each Families Needs
Overview of the College Search Process:
This session will help guide you through the process by providing a comprehensive list of things to be looking for when researching colleges, which can help you come up with a preliminary list of schools. You will also learn when and how to start visiting colleges, what demonstrated interest is and how to make sure you’re doing it. Lastly, you will receive a timeline of what to focus on during sophomore, junior and senior year so that you are ready to apply to colleges!
The session lasts approximately two hours and can be attended by both parents and the student.
Comprehensive Packages:
Comprehensive Packages are best when started in the student’s sophomore or junior year, and include the following:

One on one college guidance

Project management, deadline oversight, breaking process into manageable tasks

Preliminary college list development and on-going consultation to help students refine college lists.

Development of standardized testing plan

Essay brainstorming & guidance for main essay and supplementals

Meet Kelly Bellavance
Raised in Upstate New York, Kelly is a first-generation college graduate with a passion for higher education. Kelly holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the State University of New York at Geneseo and a Master’s degree in Higher Education Administration from Suffolk University. In a higher education career spanning twenty-five years, Kelly has helped thousands of students make the transition from high school to college. Her professional career includes six years reviewing applications, overseeing student volunteers and working with transfer students at Suffolk University, before continuing her admissions career at Boston College. During her sixteen years at BC, she reviewed thousands of applications, participated in committee decisions and managed the transfer process.
Kelly served as President of the New England Association of College Admission Counseling (NEACAC) where she had the privilege of leading an organization of hundreds of college admission, and secondary school professionals in a mission to further higher education to hundreds of thousands of high school students. Kelly is passionate about helping students navigate the admissions process in a positive and empowering way that matches their goals, ambitions and academic interests.
When she’s not assisting others, Kelly can be found swimming laps at the local YMCA, hiking the trails of Connecticut or traveling throughout the United States.
